Community Redevelopment Agency
The Bradenton Community Redevelopment Agency is a “Dependent Special Tax District” created by City Resolution 79-55 on November 1979, pursuant to Chapter 163.367 of the Florida Statutes. It was created for the purpose of revitalizing a designated area identified containing both slum and or blight in the downtown section of the City of Bradenton, Florida. (See attached map)
Fourteenth Street
Community Redevelopment Agency
The 14th Street Community Redevelopment Agency is a “Dependent Special Tax District created on October 27, 1993, by City Ordinance No. 2504, as set forth in Resolution 93-62, pursuant to Chapter 163.367 of the Florida Statutes. It was created to eliminate slum and blight in the 14th Street neighborhood and to establish a plan to revitalizing a designated area along 14th Street West in the City of Bradenton.
Redevelopment Trust Fund
There shall be established for each community redevelopment agency created under F.S. 163.356 a redevelopment trust fund. Funds allocated to and deposited into this fund shall be used by the agency to finance or refinance any community redevelopment it undertakes pursuant to the approved community redevelopment plan.
